Priya Carlberg (she/her) is a distinguished vocalist, composer, and educator based in New York City.

Carlberg’s work exists at the intersection of improvisation and composition. Her process values aural intuition while pushing the boundaries of the human voice. She often utilizes a stream of consciousness approach, serving as a cathartic and unfiltered means to process her emotions. In addition to her projects as a bandleader, she collaborates in several groups, finding immense value in collective experimentation, reciprocity, and growth.
